Hi my beauties welcome back to my blog
Today I am going to be sharing with you my updated hair care
routine. This is a routine that I have been following religiously for the past
three to four months and it has really helped me to maintain the health of my
hair and make them a lot more lustrous and healthier. In fact, not just that it
has helped me control the hair fall which was severe in the middle of the year
and also tame the frizz in my hair. There are a lot of home remedies that I do
use and you will know them in this blog. So, if you are someone who likes home
remedies this is the blog for you.
Also, this haircare routine is not very complicated but
definitely you have to put in some effort to have nice glowing skin and
lustrous hair. Now without further ado let's dive right into this blog.
First, I am going to talk about the very easy hair packs
that I use at home they are super-duper simple.
The first one is you take a bowl of yogurt and you take one
full tablespoon of mustard oil mix them together and just apply it on your hair.
Leave it for an hour and then just wash off and it's super-duper simple like I
said both yogurt and mustard oil are very hydrating for the hair and they're
going to keep your hair beautiful and lustrous.
The second one that I have been doing more often these days is
using egg in my hair. So, I just use simple eggs, I whip eggs up 2x for my
length of hair and thickness, works really well. Sometimes I use mustard oil in
this egg pack as well. The thing with mustard oil is it is a little bit greasy so,
if you have very greasy scalp skip the mustard oil and just use either yogurt
or just use eggs in your hair. For both the packs just leave it in your hair
for about an hour and then just wash off with a mild shampoo.
Moving on to hair oils, I oil my hair at least once a week.
If I wash my hair twice, I would do the pack once and oil my hair once. If I would
wash my hair thrice, I would do the pack still only once a week and the hair
oiling twice a week.
Indulekha Bringer Oil
The first hair all that I want to recommend is the Indulekha
Bringer Oil. If you are someone who's facing hair thinning in specific, this is
the hair oil you definitely want to try because it really helps in regrowth of
hair. It did not help me with my hair fall at all but I could see small hair popping
out of my scalp.
So, if you're facing hair thinning, this is the one you
definitely want to go for. The other thing that I want to recommend of course
is my hair oil pack. This is something I’ve been using for years. You have read
about this in my “BEST HAIRCARE PRODUCTS” blog as well. What I am talking about
is a hair oil pack with four different oils.
So, what I do is take equal quantities of all these oils the
first one is the aloe vera, castor oil you can take any castor oil of your
choice and put some virgin coconut oil, I like the brand Max Care but again you
can take any coconut oil of your choice. Just make sure that your oils are cold
pressed preferably and of course with castor oil it should be hexane free. Then
I use some pure almond oil.
Almond oil is really good in nourishing your follicles and all
the four oils that I am telling you serve different purposes. Lastly, I would add
some drops of vitamin E oil in this pack. Now vitamin E oil is something that I
use a lot on my skin and also in my hair packs and this hair oil pack as well
because it really helps to nourish your scalp.
Moving on having a good hair tool is really important by
that I mean a good comb or a hairbrush. One thing that you do need to bear in
mind is whatever you use please make sure you're washing your comb every week
because it does tend to grab all the dust and all the dirt from your hair whenever
you comb.
Now the one that I switched to is a white tooth wooden comb and
I also use a hair brush. The hair brush I still use sometimes but the one that I
use on daily basis is actually a neem comb and this is from the brand Soap Square.
Very affordable it is either 100 or 150 rupees. Because this is carved out from
a neem trees basically what this does is if there is any sort of a bacteria or fungus
growing on your scalp it will take care of that as well.
It's really important that you take your time when you're combing
your hair and you're not harsh with it of course especially if you have thick
hair or curly hair because hair tend to get especially long hair like mine tend
to get tangled very easily. So, go on slowly you start from the bottom parts of
your hair and then move up.
A white tooth comb is something that I feel works really
well for me, especially something which is a wooden comb and carved out of a
neem tree.
The
Moms Co. Natural Protein Shampoo
Moving on to shampoos and I have two shampoos here for you guys.
The first one is the Mom's Co Natural Protein Shampoo. This is a shampoo which I
feel has helped me quite a lot with the hair fall in specific. It's a very
gentle cleanser, it's a sulfate free shampoo SLS and SLES free. It is really very
gently, cleanses my scalp.
Now I am someone who does wash my hair about two times at
least sometimes even three times a week. So, if you are someone who washes your
hair quite often then you need a gentle cleanser. This I feel really helped me with
the hair fall in specific also.
This leaves the hair really soft; this has a coconut base; this
has hydrolyzed silk protein is also a coconut-based cleanser for gentle cleansing
of the scalp. So, this doesn't lather a lot if you like a shampoo that lathers
a lot this may not be the one but for my thick hair, I do have to go with a
little bit of extra shampoo to be honest in order to cleanse my hair but I
really don't mind that because like I said it has really helped me with the
hair fall.
Also, when it comes to the results that it's giving you and I
feel it's really worth the money and fairly affordable.
Head and Shoulders Anti-Dandruff Shampoo
The second shampoo that I and I this use particularly when I
have dandruff in my hair. What I am talking about is the Head and Shoulders Anti-Dandruff
Shampoo. This is a run-of-the-mill shampoo but it really works for me in winter
especially because I tend to get dandruff on my scalp, dried out scalp
sometimes in winters. This really does take care of that so, if you are someone
who's suffering from dandruff this is one shampoo you can try.
This does not do anything else for my hair but it works
really well for my hair overall. Like it doesn't strip my hair, it leaves my
hair fairly normal after the wash, doesn't dry out my hair in any way, no frizz
at all. So, this is one shampoo which is very affordable and yet works for me really
well.
Moving on to the fifth and the last step of my haircare
routine is using a hair serum. You must be wondering that I did not talk about
a conditioner that's because I haven't been using one for the past three to
four months. I wanted to skip a conditioner and see how my hair feels does, it
actually helps in my hair fall and honestly, I feel whatever I am doing right
now these five steps everything is contributing in preventing hair fall and
also making my hair a lot better in terms of texture
They've become brittle and dry in some time in the past and I
think they have really recovered from whatever damage there was. Now hair fall
can be for many reasons it could be hormonal changes, it could be a change of
weather and change in your diet, your exercise routine.
So. all of those things in my case were pretty constant but
suddenly I started having massive hair fall. I did not know the reason but I definitely
feel whatever I am doing is really helping me so I felt a conditioner was
probably weighing down my hair too much and maybe I wasn't washing it out
properly out of my hair or whatever the reason was.
Even though I was using the lightest of conditioners so, I
skipped conditioner and I feel that my hair feels a lot better more alive and
have a lot more bounce. So. the Moms Co Shampoo and this particular serum in
combination is just perfect for me. They are working really well for me and I
plan to be sticking to this hair care routine for a longer period of time.
L'Oréal Extraordinary Oil
What I am referring to in terms of hair serum is a L'Oréal Extraordinary
Oil Serum. This is a product which I will say that this is a very lightweight
hair serum. It doesn't weigh down your hair, it doesn't make your scalp sticky or
even if you go in with a little bit extra. So, I take two pumps when my hair is
wet and two pumps once my hair have completely dried out before combing
If I had to style my hair which I don't do very often I
would still go in with this before any blow drying or any sort of curling iron
because this also acts as a hair protectant.
So, guys with that it's a wrap I really hope that you
enjoyed reading this blog and were able to take some tips and products out of
this blog that you can try for yourself

health of my hair and honestly, I do plan to stick to this one for a longer
period of time.
