developing extreme oiliness and dryness of our skin. Our skin is the bodies
largest organ and it requires regular attention to stay blemish-free, healthy
and young. But most of the people and especially women after certain age don’t
pay much attention to this which can cause skin dryness, wrinkles, acne, you will
lose a layer of protection of your skin and many more. Infact, without applying
moisturizers your makeup will not look flawless.
What moisturizers to use?
Dermatologist suggest that, we should use a light
moisturizer for the day time and a heavy one for the night time before going to

what exact our skin type is whether it is dry, oily, normal/combination or sensitive

1. The bare-face method:
Clear your face properly with a mild suitable face wash or a
cleanser and very gently pat it dry. Leave it as it is without apply anything
on your face for good 30 minutes, after that examine your nose, checks forehead
and chin for any shine throughout then you likely to have an oily skin type. If
your skin feels tight and is scaly or flaky then you likely to have a dry skin
type. If the shine is only on the T-zone area of your face then you have a combination
skin type, and if your skin feels comfortable and hydrated not oily or dry then
you have a normal skin type.
2. Blotting sheets:
This method is much easier and faster then the previous one
and it is also used by most of the people. This is an excellent differentiator
between dry and oily skin type. Very gently pat the blotting paper on the
different area of your face. Hold the sheet up to the light to determine how
much oil is visible. If the sheet picked up mostly to no oil, then you have a
dry skin type. If the blotting sheet revels oil from your nose and forehead
area then you have a normal/combination skin type. Finally, if the blotting
paper is saturated with oil, it is understood that you have an oily skin type.
How to find the right facial moisturizers for your skin?
The basic thumb rule is that to choose a moisturizer based
on your skin type. Take the above skin type test and start using the one according
to your skin type. Apart from that a
regular use of moisturizer should be a part of your daily routine. Always
choose a moisturizer with plenty of vitamins like vitamin-A and B5 increase
firmness and build moisture levels. Anti-oxidant vitamin C and E fights skin
damage and helps protect new skin. PABA-free SPF sunscreens helps prevent
premature lines and wrinkles and protect your skin during the day. Also always
use a moisturizer which is oil-free, won’t clog pores, allergy and dermatology
tested.

A popular drugstore moisturizer and it is rightly so because
its flawless, light on skin and so perfect if you have oily or combination skin
and this is also recommended for people with acne prone skin. It is best for combination
skin. The texture of this moisturizer is very pleasing. It is a blueish colored
moisturizer and gets absorbed in the skin very quickly. This moisturizer comes
with hyaluronic acid, vitamin E. You can try this under makeup and at night as a
night cream. This is perfect and needless to say this is such an affordable
moisturizer and it worth every single penny.

2. GOOD VIBES ORANGE REFRESHING FACE GEL:
This is basically an orange gel which can be used as a
moisturizer as well. This also works perfect for your skin and under your
makeup. If you want to apply it before makeup, just put two drops of vitamin E
in it personally suggested and you are good to go. It is a very clear gel and smells
very orangish. So, if your someone who does not like fruity fragrance then do
not pick this one up because this is very strong smelling, if you can get past
the smell then that’s fine. This is a beautiful moisturizer for anyone with an
oily skin or combination skin since this is a gel. It absorbs in your skin in a
matter of seconds and it perfectly well for sensitive skin type. I would have
recommended this for an acne prone skin but because it has a such a strong fragrance
as I have mentioned earlier, so I am not going to be recommending as it is
going to irritate your skin even further.
Always remember if you have a huge amount of fragrance product
in your skin gap that tends to irritate your skin especially if you have acne.

· High content of citric acid effect in drying away acne and gets rid of toxins resulting in preventing future acne blackouts.
· Orange has rich source of vitamin C which improves skin color and texture.
3. PLUM GREEN TEA RENEWED CLARITY NIGHT GEL.
If you have acne prone skin especially pigmentation or acne
scars this is going to take care of it very well. This product and the entire
line of Green Tea has glycolic acid in it which is very good for pigmentation
or acne scar as I said. The fragrance of this night gel is so beautiful
smelling and light. This is a lovely greenish colored gel and does not even
feel that you are wearing anything on your skin so is the texture of the
moisturizer. This is definitely not going to irritate your skin and even
sensitive skin people are going to love this. Remember it is a night gel so you
should not use it on day time. You should not pair it with anything that
clashes with glycolic acid. So, read the description and make sure you not
mixing anything thing that go with glycolic acid because this one has glycolic
acid in it.

away from it as it is not suitable for oily skin type. Although it has a base
of a cream, it is an alluring non-oily texture. Needless to say, that Biotique has

ingredients in it.

for so many skin types. This is for normal skin type and there is a dry skin variant
also available but even dry skin once can use this and normal/combination as
well because it is so hydrating. For dry
skin people it is much recommended, you can either go for the dry skin version
of Neutrogena Hydro boost Gel if you have very dry skin. But if you can’t get
your hands on this then you can buy one and go in and lather on some extra
moisturizer. This is such a beautiful product, works beautifully under makeup
and does not irritate your skin but hydrates your skin well. Combination, oily,
acne, sensitive anyone can use it. This also has hyaluronic acid in it. This is
going to nourish your skin, take care of any dark spots. This is a blue colored
like an ocean in a bottle. It is so light you can apply anytime of the day if
you are not wearing makeup, in the afternoon, night and morning as well. This
gets sucked in your skin very quickly. The gel in here is very beautiful, the
texture is absolutely amazing. This is one of the best moisturizers out there.

will not regret buying this product. This is for anyone and everyone for all
skin types.
