Best Face Masks for Clear Skin, For Pigmentation, Acne, Pores, Blackheads, Glow & More

by , in

Hello beauties!! Happy Thursday to everyone and hope you guys are having a day.

Today I have for you one of my most favorite blogs, now I know I say this in all of my blogs because I love skincare, haircare routines so much. In short, I love pampering myself and I share all these with you beauties so, that you guys should do the same.

I love masking and I've been trying various masks / face packs whatever you call them from various different brands that are catering to various different skin concerns. So, whether you have pigmentation, acne, acne-scars, uneven skin tones, pores or if you are looking for something that's anti-aging or simply looking for that load then this is the blog for you.

Now this is going to be a long-ass blog so grab a cup of tea or coffee and without further ado let's dive right into this blog.

Other than the mask I will also be showing you two very good DIYs that I use very often which you can weight very easily at home. I am going to be going mask wise and I am going to tell you what are the ingredients, what that mask does and with skin concerned with that care to do.

HIMALAYA NEEM FACE PACK

BUY NOW BUY NOW

The first mass that I have for you here is from Himalaya it's their new mask and the key ingredients here are Fuller's earth, Multani mitti, it has neem and turmeric in it. The neem is antibacterial, it regulates excess oil secretion cleans your clogged pores and prevents recurrence of acne. Turmeric in this is going to control the acne causing bacteria as well and Multani mitti as we all know soothes the skin so this bag in particular is beautiful for anyone who has acne or acne prone skin. Even if you have the small bumps on your face the Multani mitti and the turmeric is going to take care of the bumps on your face and it's going to cool down any kind of acne that's popping on your face.

So, anyone who has acne, acne-prone skin or the small bumps on their face I highly recommend the Himalaya Neem Face Pack.

DOT AND KEY GREEN CLAY MASK

BUY NOW BUY NOW

The next face pack that I have for you is one of my current favorites and I am going to describe about this at a little bit of length and this is the Dot and Key pollution and acne defense green clay mask. Now I just bought this very recently I have only used a thrice and oh my goodness don't I love this pack already. This has become one of my favorite guys. I have been eyeing on Dot and Key products for a while now because first I love the packaging it's so attractive and second the kind of ingredients that they are using in their skincare is amazing.

Now let me very quickly go through the key ingredients that are listed here on their packaging. The first ingredient here is a matcha green tea and then you have that the monoi oil, neem oil, kaolin and bentonite clay French green clay. You have eucalyptus oil and willow bark extract.

If we talk about the packaging and how the inside tub looks and I am sure you guys have been using it or seen it already, like first let's take a moment and appreciate the face stunning packaging of the Dot and Key products. The first time when I saw the brand, I mean I was blown away with the packaging itself and then I was so intrigued that I had to go in and research about the brand. I then realized that they are doing some very great skincare so, I had to get my hands on something.

All the Dot and Key products are non-comedogenic and they have no chemicals whatsoever. I wanted to try something else but since a lot of you out there have acne concerns, I went for the acne clay masks. Because I wanted to try and see how the mask actually is first of all I just want to tell you before we go into the details that this is such a cooling mask. In summers no matter what skin type you are I highly recommend this mask because every skin is going to love this mask. It is so cooling on the face and it dries off in 10 minutes and after that I felt my skin is looking so much clearer. It lends to out my face completely.

Matcha green-tea which is a main ingredient in this face pack is antibacterial and also reduces inflammation. It's also going to even out your skin tone and if you have any kind of pigmentation or spots on your face then this is a very multi-tasking and multi-performing kind of a face mask. The antioxidants that are there in this green tea mask is going to help reduce acne and also improve the elasticity of your skin.

I would say this is a multi-purpose mask. It's going to help anyone who is suffering from pigmentation, acne, acne-scars or if you just want to even out your skin tone and get that beautiful glow. The other thing that I absolutely loved about the face mask is the fragrance, this smells so heavenly I cannot stop smelling since the time I have gotten this mask. This is a pretty thick face mask and one of the other key ingredients is the tamanu oil which is the carrier oil that facilitates growth of newer skin and it soothes and repair skin and diminishes scars.

Hence this is an excellent face mask for anyone who has acne, acne-prone skin or anyone who has acne scars or even pigmentation as I already mentioned.

The next two face masks that I have are for people who are suffering from open pores and anyone who has a lot of blackheads or whiteheads or just simply wants to exfoliate the skin and wants to get a beautiful more even toned glowing skin.

INNISFREE SUPER VOLCANIC PORE CLAY MASK 2X

BUY NOW BUY NOW

The next master I have for you is Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask 2x. Now there are two versions in this mask from Innisfree, there is a 2 X version which is more expensive or slightly more expensive and there is a normal a pore clay mask also that is from Innisfree. The packaging is only very slightly different. I wanted to go with the 2x and see what the hype is all about.

The first time when I went ahead and use this, I really felt that it's an average mass because after I scrubbed my face, I put this on and my face was so red (I get redness every time I scrub my face) that I couldn't see that it has gotten rid of any blackheads or whiteheads on my face.

Let me tell you I have a major problem of whiteheads especially around my nose and chin area and mostly when there is a weather change, I also get small bumps on my face so, charcoal must really work very well for me. But after the redness subsided, I did realize that it had gotten rid of almost 30 to 40% of my blackheads and whiteheads around this area and then I realized that this actually is a very good mask and it's worth all the hype. However, this mask claims a lot more and I will tell you what it does and what it doesn't.

The Innisfree mask claims that it's pore tightening, its sebum control, exfoliation, fine dust cleansing, blackhead removal, deep cleansing, cooling effects, softening, brightening and firming. I definitely agree that it did get rid of a lot of my blackheads and whiteheads. It did form up my skin a little bit and it did tighten up my pores a little bit however it did not give me any brightening whatsoever it did exfoliate my face pretty well. But I'm not very sure about the cooling effect. In fact, the Dot and Key one was a lot more cooling.

So, I would recommend this face pack particularly for anyone who has a lot of blackheads whiteheads and open pores on their face. I really think that this had a great effect on my blackheads and whiteheads. I would recommend this mask but do bear in mind that this is on the higher end of things. You get a 100 ml of product for 1,100 Rs.

Now a little bit about charcoal because my next mask is also a charcoal face mask and one of my favorites. Charcoal becomes like a magnet when it comes in contact with any kind of dirt toxins or chemicals. That's why it's excellent for removing any kind of dirt and unclog your pores. So, highly recommended for anyone who has open pores or anyone who has blackheads or whiteheads.

L’OREAL PURE CLAY MASK DETOXIFY

BUY NOW BUY NOW

My next face mask is also a charcoal mask and I love this, I really enjoyed using this in the past and I continue to repurchase it. It's my second tub and I reach out for this so very often. This is the Pure Clay Mask Detoxify from L’Oréal. This has Japanese activated charcoal in it. This is really beautiful on my skin.

I've seen such great results it works on my blackheads, on my open pores, it even brightens your skin, gives you that beautiful glow and whenever I feel that my skin is looking dull, I go in with this mask and it does the magic.

PLUM GREEN TEA MASK

BUY NOW BUY NOW

The next face master I have is from Plum and the key ingredient stated here are kaolin and bentonite clay, green tea clay and glycolic acid. This is one of the masks that is highly recommended for acne prone skin. I really like the Plum mask because it's not too thick and not too thin, it's of perfect consistency. I really like this for the glycolic acid because it exfoliates skin, it effectively removes superficial layer of the skin, removing dead skin cells and it brightens the skin, treats any kind of scarring and any kind of skin discoloration, wrinkles and fine lines.

So, this is a mask which is again a multi-purpose mask. Plum as you guys know is 100% vegan brand. There are no harmful chemicals and sulfates in their products. I have loved their green tea range and I've reviewed it on my blog. If you haven't read that than you go and read that too.

I still continue to love their green tea range and so I had to try this mask. This particular mask is beautiful, it is very good for acne prone skin, if you have acne scars, pigmentation or if you have any kind of discoloration on your face, the glycolic acid in this is really going to help your skin condition.

GOOD VIBES PAPAYA FACE MASK

BUY NOW BUY NOW

The next mask that I have for you is Good Vibes Papaya Glow Mask. This has bentonite clay, kaolin clay, it has papaya and aloe vera extracts. I love the texture of this mask, it's very beautiful. It's neither too thick nor too thin and papaya as we all know fights pigmentation, blemishes, it also acts as a gentle exfoliator and it is very good for brightening skin and getting that very beautiful glow and evening out your skin tone.

My next two masks are for anyone who's looking to get rid of their tan and remove any kind of dark spots and treat their uneven skin tone.  This is from Banjaras, the first one is the Banjaras Sandalwood Mask and the second one is the Banjaras Papaya Mask. I specifically recommend the Papaya mask if you have a tan or dark spots in specific. If you want to even out your skin tone and you're looking for something that's anti-inflammatory then I highly recommend the Sandalwood one.

Now the Banjaras Face Mask which comes in a box like structure and has five sashes inside. As you guys know that the Sandalwood is very helpful in getting rid of any kind of tan, it heals any kind of dark spots also very helpful if you have acne or acne scars on your face.

If you can't find the Banjaras Face Mask, I am going to give you a very easy solution. Just mix sandalwood and Multani mitti in equal quantity together. Now if you have dry skin or very dry skin, I recommend using some turmeric, some rose water, some raw milk and yogurt and just put it on your face and see the magic happening.

If you have oily skin, acne skin or if you have combination skin type then just put some yogurt and turmeric and apply it on your face. This is such a beautiful DIY mask that you can do at home guys.

Now the next DIY that I have for you that you can whip at home under five minutes is a Chickpea Mask for anyone who has pigmentation in specific and if you are looking for that natural glow which we put on our brides also is the chickpea mask. All you have to do is take some chick pea flour and then you put some turmeric in it and then you add some yogurt. If you have very dry skin put some organic honey and see the magic happening. Because organic honey will really take care of any kind of skin issues that you may have on your face or any skin concerns will be taken care by turmeric and also by honey.

Chickpea is very good exfoliator as well so if you don't want to use any of the masks that I showed you guys, go in for the chickpea mask. I use this every time at least once a month I even use it on my body as a bath product and I think it's absolutely wonderful.

My last face mask and a DIY which is very helpful for anyone who's looking for an anti-aging face mask and has premature aging on their skin laughs lines, crow's feet, frown lines, smile lines this is a face mask that is going to be very helpful for you.

Now all you need here is a raw banana and we all know that bananas are very good for boosting collagen in your skin, then you need four tablespoons of yogurt - the lactic acid in yogurt is going to prevent premature aging and then two teaspoons of honey - honey is not just antibacterial, it's anti-inflammatory and it also moisturizes your skin and hydrates your skin really well so do try this out at home if you are suffering from premature aging and your skin is going to bless you.

So, guys those were my most favorite face masks. I hope I was able to cater to every skin concern. If you found this blog helpful then let me know in the comment section and until I see you next guys.

Bye, take care and don’t forget to love yourself.

My Updated Haircare Routine for Healthy & Lustrous Hair & Hair-fall Care

by , in

Hi my beauties welcome back to my blog

Today I am going to be sharing with you my updated hair care routine. This is a routine that I have been following religiously for the past three to four months and it has really helped me to maintain the health of my hair and make them a lot more lustrous and healthier. In fact, not just that it has helped me control the hair fall which was severe in the middle of the year and also tame the frizz in my hair. There are a lot of home remedies that I do use and you will know them in this blog. So, if you are someone who likes home remedies this is the blog for you.

Also, this haircare routine is not very complicated but definitely you have to put in some effort to have nice glowing skin and lustrous hair. Now without further ado let's dive right into this blog.

First, I am going to talk about the very easy hair packs that I use at home they are super-duper simple.

The first one is you take a bowl of yogurt and you take one full tablespoon of mustard oil mix them together and just apply it on your hair. Leave it for an hour and then just wash off and it's super-duper simple like I said both yogurt and mustard oil are very hydrating for the hair and they're going to keep your hair beautiful and lustrous.

The second one that I have been doing more often these days is using egg in my hair. So, I just use simple eggs, I whip eggs up 2x for my length of hair and thickness, works really well. Sometimes I use mustard oil in this egg pack as well. The thing with mustard oil is it is a little bit greasy so, if you have very greasy scalp skip the mustard oil and just use either yogurt or just use eggs in your hair. For both the packs just leave it in your hair for about an hour and then just wash off with a mild shampoo.

Moving on to hair oils, I oil my hair at least once a week. If I wash my hair twice, I would do the pack once and oil my hair once. If I would wash my hair thrice, I would do the pack still only once a week and the hair oiling twice a week.

Indulekha Bringer Oil

BUY NOW BUY NOW

The first hair all that I want to recommend is the Indulekha Bringer Oil. If you are someone who's facing hair thinning in specific, this is the hair oil you definitely want to try because it really helps in regrowth of hair. It did not help me with my hair fall at all but I could see small hair popping out of my scalp.

So, if you're facing hair thinning, this is the one you definitely want to go for. The other thing that I want to recommend of course is my hair oil pack. This is something I’ve been using for years. You have read about this in my “BEST HAIRCARE PRODUCTS” blog as well. What I am talking about is a hair oil pack with four different oils.

So, what I do is take equal quantities of all these oils the first one is the aloe vera, castor oil you can take any castor oil of your choice and put some virgin coconut oil, I like the brand Max Care but again you can take any coconut oil of your choice. Just make sure that your oils are cold pressed preferably and of course with castor oil it should be hexane free. Then I use some pure almond oil.

Almond oil is really good in nourishing your follicles and all the four oils that I am telling you serve different purposes. Lastly, I would add some drops of vitamin E oil in this pack. Now vitamin E oil is something that I use a lot on my skin and also in my hair packs and this hair oil pack as well because it really helps to nourish your scalp.

Moving on having a good hair tool is really important by that I mean a good comb or a hairbrush. One thing that you do need to bear in mind is whatever you use please make sure you're washing your comb every week because it does tend to grab all the dust and all the dirt from your hair whenever you comb.

Now the one that I switched to is a white tooth wooden comb and I also use a hair brush. The hair brush I still use sometimes but the one that I use on daily basis is actually a neem comb and this is from the brand Soap Square. Very affordable it is either 100 or 150 rupees. Because this is carved out from a neem trees basically what this does is if there is any sort of a bacteria or fungus growing on your scalp it will take care of that as well.

It's really important that you take your time when you're combing your hair and you're not harsh with it of course especially if you have thick hair or curly hair because hair tend to get especially long hair like mine tend to get tangled very easily. So, go on slowly you start from the bottom parts of your hair and then move up.

A white tooth comb is something that I feel works really well for me, especially something which is a wooden comb and carved out of a neem tree.

The Moms Co. Natural Protein Shampoo

BUY NOW BUY NOW

Moving on to shampoos and I have two shampoos here for you guys. The first one is the Mom's Co Natural Protein Shampoo. This is a shampoo which I feel has helped me quite a lot with the hair fall in specific. It's a very gentle cleanser, it's a sulfate free shampoo SLS and SLES free. It is really very gently, cleanses my scalp.

Now I am someone who does wash my hair about two times at least sometimes even three times a week. So, if you are someone who washes your hair quite often then you need a gentle cleanser. This I feel really helped me with the hair fall in specific also.

This leaves the hair really soft; this has a coconut base; this has hydrolyzed silk protein is also a coconut-based cleanser for gentle cleansing of the scalp. So, this doesn't lather a lot if you like a shampoo that lathers a lot this may not be the one but for my thick hair, I do have to go with a little bit of extra shampoo to be honest in order to cleanse my hair but I really don't mind that because like I said it has really helped me with the hair fall.

Also, when it comes to the results that it's giving you and I feel it's really worth the money and fairly affordable.

Head and Shoulders Anti-Dandruff Shampoo

BUY NOW BUY NOW

The second shampoo that I and I this use particularly when I have dandruff in my hair. What I am talking about is the Head and Shoulders Anti-Dandruff Shampoo. This is a run-of-the-mill shampoo but it really works for me in winter especially because I tend to get dandruff on my scalp, dried out scalp sometimes in winters. This really does take care of that so, if you are someone who's suffering from dandruff this is one shampoo you can try.

This does not do anything else for my hair but it works really well for my hair overall. Like it doesn't strip my hair, it leaves my hair fairly normal after the wash, doesn't dry out my hair in any way, no frizz at all. So, this is one shampoo which is very affordable and yet works for me really well.

Moving on to the fifth and the last step of my haircare routine is using a hair serum. You must be wondering that I did not talk about a conditioner that's because I haven't been using one for the past three to four months. I wanted to skip a conditioner and see how my hair feels does, it actually helps in my hair fall and honestly, I feel whatever I am doing right now these five steps everything is contributing in preventing hair fall and also making my hair a lot better in terms of texture

They've become brittle and dry in some time in the past and I think they have really recovered from whatever damage there was. Now hair fall can be for many reasons it could be hormonal changes, it could be a change of weather and change in your diet, your exercise routine.

So. all of those things in my case were pretty constant but suddenly I started having massive hair fall. I did not know the reason but I definitely feel whatever I am doing is really helping me so I felt a conditioner was probably weighing down my hair too much and maybe I wasn't washing it out properly out of my hair or whatever the reason was.

Even though I was using the lightest of conditioners so, I skipped conditioner and I feel that my hair feels a lot better more alive and have a lot more bounce. So. the Moms Co Shampoo and this particular serum in combination is just perfect for me. They are working really well for me and I plan to be sticking to this hair care routine for a longer period of time.

L'Oréal Extraordinary Oil

BUY NOW BUY NOW

What I am referring to in terms of hair serum is a L'Oréal Extraordinary Oil Serum. This is a product which I will say that this is a very lightweight hair serum. It doesn't weigh down your hair, it doesn't make your scalp sticky or even if you go in with a little bit extra. So, I take two pumps when my hair is wet and two pumps once my hair have completely dried out before combing

If I had to style my hair which I don't do very often I would still go in with this before any blow drying or any sort of curling iron because this also acts as a hair protectant.

So, guys with that it's a wrap I really hope that you enjoyed reading this blog and were able to take some tips and products out of this blog that you can try for yourself

If you do try any of the products or any tips let me know in the comment section below how it turned out for you?

I really feel that this hair care routine is a lot simpler and quicker to do than my previous one. Also, it has really helped me maintain the health of my hair and honestly, I do plan to stick to this one for a longer period of time.

Now if you did like this blog, please do comment and show your love to me and until I see you next guys Thank you so much for reading and as I always say don’t forget to LOVE YOURSELF.

Bye my lovely beauties.

TOP 6 AFFORDABLE FOUNDATIONS FOR ALL SKIN TYPES

by , in

Hi my beauties!

I hope you guys are having a happy start of the week and wish you all have a great and happy week ahead.

Today’s blog is on my most favorite top six drugstore foundations for you guys. I wanted to make it a top five but there's one foundation that I just couldn't miss, so here's a top six. Now drugstore has a lot of price ranges out there. Some are super affordable foundation and then there are some mid-range foundations as well.

You will find a mix of both and not just that while picking up these foundations I did bear in mind different skin types. So, whether you are oily, combination or dry skin I am very hopeful that you will be able to find a foundation which will work very well on your skin type.

We are going to be talking about the consistencies, the longevity, how the foundation sits on the skin so on and so forth.

Now if you're new here make sure you're subscribed to my blog by submitting your email because that's how you're going to know every time I post a new blog. Do also follow me on my Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn account links are already mentioned on my page and now without further ado let's dive right into this blog.

1. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation

BUY NOW BUY NOW

The first foundation that I am going to talk about is super popular at the drugstore and it's quite likely that a lot of you already own this foundation and rightly so. What I am talking about is the Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Polish foundation and you have 18 shades option in this one.

The reason why this foundation is because I feel it is super-duper popular, it is very affordable for the quantity you get and you also get a mini size a smaller version in this foundation which also is something that I have.

I really like the consistency firstly the shade that I use is a warm nude 128. This is a perfect match for me. There are 18 different shades as I already told you in the beginning and the shade chart have the variety of shades that are also pretty decent for Indian skin. It's likely that you will find a shade for yourself.

In my opinion it surely isn't matte, on my skin it sits like a demi matte finish and has a very soft do to itself. If you do apply some sort of a strobe cream or a facial oil this gives a beautiful luminous kind of a finish and lasts for a fairly long time.  The consistency of the foundation is medium it's neither too runny nor too thick.

I personally like to blend out my foundations with a beauty sponge and I’ve always stuck to that. The beauty sponge that I really like is the one that has a flat bend like a flat side on one side and pointed on the other. So, pointed is for areas around your nose and underneath your eyes to blend out your concealer and then the other side is very good to pat out your foundations. These two together work really well for me.

This is a foundation which is definitely medium coverage, it's buildable but still it is medium coverage. I personally on a daily basis do not like foundations that are very heavy or full coverage because I personally like foundations in which my skin can show through and this looks super-duper natural. It has no flashback, looks great in photographs and camera. Overall a foundation that works for all skin types and something that I personally love and highly recommend.

Now when you will blend it on your skin you will see its luminosity and blends out like a dream. Even if you are someone who's a beginner to makeup this is the kind of foundation I highly recommend because if you are someone who does not have a sponge or any sort of an applicator or a tool to blend out your foundation this blends out with your fingers also very easily.

2. Maybelline Super Stay Foundation

BUY NOW BUY NOW

The second drugstore foundation also quite popular is the Maybelline Super Stay Foundation. I am in the shade 220 natural beige. This has nine shades in it, firstly this bottle comes with a pump and so does the Maybelline Fit Me. Now thankfully I have to repurchase the fit me because I’ve used so many bottles of that. Coming back to this foundation it's a solid full coverage guys if you're looking for a good affordable full coverage foundation this definitely makes the cut.

This has great consistency neither too thick nor too thin it's in between and blends out really well as well. As I said I personally like to blend out all my foundations with a beauty sponge. This one in particular I have tried with a stippling brush, works fairly well, sits on the skin very well as well and lasts for a fairly long time without cracking and has no flashback.

The greatest part of the story is even besides being full coverage and it's buildable as well it does not sit in the lines in your smile lines or around the nose area right here. Overall, it gives a flawless finish, looks great if you are someone who likes to click pictures or on camera in general because like I said has no flashback.

The only con about this foundation at least on me is that it oxidizes a little bit. I think if you are someone who's looking for a good full coverage foundation, I highly recommend this but make sure that you're going for a little bit lighter color. In fact, I feel whatever your color may be in the Fit Me range the similar color is something that you can definitely pick up in this one as well.

Maybelline Super stay has a very beautiful satin finish, it's not super matte at least on my skin. If you're someone with oily skin type then this is a full coverage foundation you definitely should try, if you are someone who's dry skin type make sure you hydrate your skin really well and that goes for any full coverage foundation that you're using just make sure that your skin is well hydrated.

Use some sort of a strobe cream or at least some sort of a facial oil so that the foundation doesn't cake and sits really well and for a longer time on your skin.

3. Nykaa Skin Shield Anti-Pollution Foundation

BUY NOW BUY NOW

Moving on to the third drugstore foundation what I have here for you is the Nykaa Skin Shield Anti-Pollution foundation. There are 15 shades in this range. When I bought this foundation, I have to be honest I did not have very high hopes. I just read the reviews and bought it but the foundation did surprise me pleasantly.

Firstly, it's medium to buildable coverage which is what I like. This is also the kind of foundation if you are someone like me who likes a little bit of light coverage and likes your skins to show through. This is the kind of foundation you are likely to love because this has a very soft satin on my skin, a sort of a luminosity it gives to my skin, a kind of a finish I personally really like. The formulation sits for a fairly long time.

There are two cons for me in this particular foundation number one is that it oxidizes a little bit. This particular shade warm nude is a tad bit dark for me however it doesn't turn gray so it's fine. It's something usable and like I said because I like the consistency which is medium, not too thick and I like the way it sits on the skin.

I do like to use this foundation quite a lot the other con is that although the foundation range has 15 different shades, the color chart is a little bit different and I feel it's a little bit hard to put your finger on the color that will go on your skin tone. So, if you are lucky enough to find your color in this range, I would highly recommend this foundation simply because of the consistency of the formula that you have here blends in beautifully.

Again, I use a beauty sponge to blend this out has a satin finish doesn't crack, doesn't cake on the skin, doesn't sit into your lines, settle into your lines and overall gives a very beautiful finish. Photographs fairly well as well has no flashback overall.

The Nykaa foundation is also something that will work for most skin types and since this is not super-duper matte has a fairly beautiful dewy sort of a finish. Even if you are dry skin, you are likely to appreciate this foundation quite a lot.

4. Milani Conceal and Perfect 2-in-o1 Foundation

BUY NOW BUY NOW

Moving on to our fourth foundation and this is a full coverage foundation from the drugstore in my opinion. This is the best solid coverage foundation that you have in the drugstore, a little bit mid-range but worth every single penny and is also one of my personal favorites. What I am talking about is the Milani Conceal and Perfect two-in-one foundation.

There are seven shades and the reason why I say this that it's worth every single penny is firstly this is the foundation that it photographs beautifully, looks great on the camera, it is a solid full coverage. Many a times I would not even use my concealer with this foundation. I would just go ahead and conceal with this so the name suggests it's a concealer and a foundation rightly so.

The other thing is I love how it sits on my skin, it has a little bit of a satin dewy finish and that's what I like about foundations. Even though it is a full coverage foundation it still is lightweight and your skin can breathe.  However, this is going to cover every damn thing, if you have a scar or you have any sort of hyperpigmentation this is the kind of foundation you can definitely go in for.

If you are a bride to be or you're looking for an occasional foundation for the festive season something that's a little bit more than the light coverage then this is something you can definitely go in for. Also, it doesn't sit in between the lines. The smile lines that i was referring to in the other foundations as well no flashback whatsoever.

In fact, I feel this is one of those foundations that photographs beautifully in my opinion and really has no con except a little bit of a strong chemically kind of a fragrance that this has but the moment you apply it on the face that also fades away. That's the only con I could pick up.

It comes with a pump so it's pretty easy to pump out the product and also it goes a little bit long way guys. Out of all the foundations that I’ve showed you this is the one that I use the least, so a little bit can be spread out. It beautifully works well with my beauty sponge and tried this for a more solid coverage of with a brush as well as stippling brush definitely that gives you a little more coverage. But I personally like I said prefer my beauty sponge with this one as well.

Again, a foundation that will work on all skin types if your dry skin make sure you hydrate your skin underneath. This I feel is especially meant for anyone who has problematic skin, you have acne scars, you have hyperpigmentation or if you have any sort of scarring this is definitely the kind of product you can invest in.

5. L.A Girl Pro Coverage Illuminating Liquid Foundation

BUY NOW BUY NOW

Moving on to the fifth foundation from the drugstore what I have here is the L.A. Girl Pro Coverage HD illuminating foundation. There are 16 shades in this foundation and the shade chart is pretty decent as well so you are likely to find a color that will be suitable for your skin. The shade that I am in is nude beige. Firstly, this color is a perfect match for my skin, this is the kind of foundation that I personally absolutely adore simply because I love foundations that give that illuminating sort of a dewy finish to your skin, a glow from within kind of a finish.

This is super-duper dewy if you are dry skin, you will love this foundation. The only thing is if you're looking for high coverage then let me tell you this is not high coverage but it's definitely medium to buildable coverage for me. I personally like foundations in which my skin can show through and foundations that look like second skin this is exactly that guys.

A beautiful foundation and it's worth every single penny in my opinion. In winters this is the kind of foundation for my combination skin that is a dream come true. I don't have to use any sort of facial oil, any sort of stroke cream I can go in with this straight away, it's like a strobe cream mixed in foundation for my combination skin.

For dry skin also honestly, I feel if you put some sort of a very light moisturizer this is the kind of foundation that will definitely not dry your skin and if your oily skin, I would say skip it because this is likely to break on your skin or maybe not last as long. Even for my combination skin I do have to set this foundation specifically on my t-zone only in summers, in winters it works perfectly all right and is also fairly long lasting.

Now this foundation is a little bit runny in the consistency and it blends out like a dream and you will see it is extremely beautiful in terms of the texture. But like I said if your oily skin this may be a way bit too much for your skin to handle.

It is something I personally really like and appreciate. One another reason why I like the L.A. Girl Foundation is that it comes in a pump. I personally really find it very hygienic to use. Foundations that come in a pump, they are easy to dispense and you can control the amount that you want to take in one go.

6. Wet n wild Photo Focus foundation

BUY NOW BUY NOW

Moving on to the sixth foundation and also, the last foundation for this blog. This is the foundation that I was a little bit confused about whether or not to add to this list but I eventually did. Looking at the price, the quantity and also the quality that you get here from the drugstore what I am talking about is the Wet and wild Photo Focus foundation.

I am in the shade golden beige and there are seven shades in this range. Firstly, the color is a pretty decent match for my skin it is perfect for me in winters and a little bit light in summers. But I do bronze my face really well whenever I use it or I mix some of the darker foundations and then apply it on my face.

The consistency is a little bit thick therefore I highly recommend using a beauty sponge versus a brush for applying this. Now this is a solid full coverage guys but it is medium coverage as well so you can build it up and build it down as well. Simply because of the consistency of this product if you do one layer and you're good to go this is going to be a little bit more than medium coverage but you can definitely build it up to be a super full coverage foundation as well.

It is a super affordable foundation the reason why I say that because it is mostly on discount everywhere. I actually picked this up on discount. You get great quantity; the consistency of this foundation is way too thick. So, if you don't like very thick foundations then this may not be the foundation for you but overall does the job and spreads out fairly well with a beauty sponge.

I personally would highly recommend if you are someone who wants a high coverage go for Wet n Wild, if you are someone who likes medium coverage or something in which your skin can show through then go for Maybelline Fit Me and that's the reason why I put this in the list.

The other corn here other than the consistency which I find too thick is the fragrance. Now the fragrance is way bit too chemically if you know what I mean. It's like you're smelling something too chemically and it's a little bit too strong. The moment you apply it on your face it just obviously vanishes off it doesn't linger on the foundation.

Overall stays for a fairly long time as well doesn't crack, doesn't settle in your lines and overall a pretty decent foundation to have guys. Also, this has a little bit a very tiny bit of flashback when you're taking pictures but if you find the right shade for yourself, I feel overall this is the kind of full coverage foundation that can definitely work for you. Even though this is a thick foundation it spreads out really well. The finish also is not too matte, it's really nice beautiful and satin finish.

So, guys with that it's a wrap I really hope that you enjoyed reading this blog and were able to pick up a foundation for yourself. Until then I see you next in my new blog guys thank you so much for reading my blog love you all and don’t forget to love yourself.

SKIN POLISHING PAPAYA FACIAL

by , in

Weekends are always for chilling, relaxing, catching-up with friends, cheating on your diet with favorite food, or spoiling ourself with some shopping. But in all this we forget to pampering our skin and body which need the most of our attention.

I usually give my Sundays to myself where I use only homemade remedies with all-natural day-to-day ingredients. So, I thought why not share this homemade remedies and skincare tips with you lovely beauties. These are all tried and use by myself and family members with different skin types and age.

In this “Sunday Pampering “I will be sharing with you a remedy related to skin, hair etc. I hope you guys will love it and will try it out.

Today I thought I'll treat myself to a relaxing skin polishing papaya facial.  This facial is very unique and so easy to do. This facial consists of four steps and each step will have only one add-on ingredient other than papaya. Papaya is rich in antioxidants so; it helps fight off free radicals which are the major cause of premature aging of our skin.

External application of papaya helps improve skin elasticity and prevents wrinkles. The enzyme papain found in papaya helps reduce inflammation so this facial is very good for acne prone skin. Stress can do bad things to our skin and health. Since all of us are going through a very stressful time now, a simple facial like this will help relax and calm you.

For the facial, take a small piece of ripe papaya and cut into small pieces. Now grind the pieces using a mortar and pestle or in the mixer, strain to get smooth papaya juice.

For the cleansing liquid, take equal quantities of papaya juice and rose water in a cup, mix well. Now take a piece of cotton, dip in this cleansing liquid and wipe it all over your face to remove any dirt and grime. This liquid will help cleanse the skin very effectively.

Now that we have removed all the dirt and grime from our face let us move on to step 2.

For this scrub, take a tablespoon of rice flour in a bowl. Add in enough papaya juice to form a paste. After using the cleansing liquid, you don’t have to wash your face immediately, use this scrub. To use, take the paste and apply it all over the face and neck, massage for a few seconds and then wash it off. This scrub will help exfoliate the skin very gently.

The third step is a massage with papaya gel. For the gel, mix equal quantities of papaya juice and pure raw honey. To use, take this gel and apply it all over the face and neck.  Massage for a few minutes in gentle upward strokes and then wash it off.

Massaging with this gel will help improve blood circulation and will brighten dull skin. This gentle massage also will help you relax. After massaging, wash your face and then pat dry.

The final step is the face pack. For that take a tablespoon of gram flour in a bowl, add in papaya juice. Mix well, to use take the pack and apply it all over the face and neck. Wait for it to almost dry and then wash it off.

For doing this facial choose a place where you won't be disturbed, switch off your phone, light a candle, play soothing music and do it leisurely. I promise, after this facial your skin will be glowing and you’ll feel very relaxed.

Give it a try and let me know how you liked it.

With this my beauties it’s a wrap for this blog. Enjoy your weekend and don’t forget to love yourself.

See you in next blog.

BEST HAIRCARE PRODUCTS

by , in

Hey my love!  I am back with my brand-new blog and this time I am going to share my haircare routine with you beauties.

Like the skin our hair too needs good nourishment and pampering but with good quality products. So, here I am to help you guys with that and I’ve put together the best haircare products so far.

Now usually I’m the kind of person who does not like to experiment a lot with my hair care products or just generally with my hair because I am very possessive about my hair but 2020 was a game changer for me when it came to haircare products. I tried a ton of different haircare products and today I have my most favorite and the best products in the haircare range that I have tried out and I had picked each one of these. I have used many of these, repurchased even twice sometimes even thrice. Now I am going to be talking about different serums, shampoos hair masks so on.

I also want to mention that if you are also someone who don’t like to experiment with your haircare product then you don’t to worry because I got you all covered. As I have mentioned above these are all tried and tested personally by me and trust me you won’t regret a single bit of it and you know what say “Change is always good”.

So, without further ado let's dive right into this blog.

First let's talk about shampoos, I think in the year 2020 I did experiment quite a lot with various different shampoos and I have three here that I stuck to and the ones that I feel are really good is going to work for various different hair problems. Also, if you have a flaky scalp or if you have a hair fall or a very dry or frizzy hair, I’m pretty sure out of these four shampoos there must be at least one that you can reach out for or at least one that will work for you.

Vilvah Goat Milk Shampoo

BUY NOW BUY NOW

The first one that I want to recommend is the Vilvah Goat Milk Shampoo. This is enriched with jasmine, hydrosol and has a beautiful consistency and fragrance, very gentle on the scalp and it's a daily cleanser kind of a shampoo. I obviously don't wash my hair on daily basis but I do wash twice or thrice a week.

Now this is a shampoo that I used already two bottles of this and now I am on my third bottle. It's a sulfate free shampoo and the only thing is this has jasmine hydrosol. So, if you are someone who does not like the fragrance of jasmine you will not like this. But personally, for me I absolutely love it and it leaves that very lingering sort of a fragrance onto your hair literally until the next wash.

Moms co Natural Protein Shampoo

BUY NOW BUY NOW

The second one that I loved quite a lot and something that I discovered much later in the year. I’ve already used one and a half bottles of it. This is the Moms co Natural Protein Shampoo. What a great product guys!! It's super affordable sulfate free, it is a gentle cleanser on the scalp, it's going to leave your hair very soft and if you are someone who's suffering from hair fall or frizzy dry hair this is the kind of shampoo that I can personally highly recommend and something I love in my hair care routine.

Earth Rhythm Shampoo Bar

BUY NOW BUY NOW

The third and the last shampoo that I loved completely is the Earth Rhythm Shampoo Bar. Now this is their murumuru butter shampoo bar for curly and wavy hair and of course this is also sulfate free. So, I have already given you three sulfate free shampoo options which I personally used and loved quite a lot.

The bar comes in a container. Honestly, I wasn't very sure before I got this that I am going to like it as much as my shampoos in the bottle but this is really easy to use. you can just wet your hands and massage the bar in between your hands and then just gently massage your scalp and also the length of your hair. Very nice, very gentle cleanser leaves the hair super-duper soft.

Moving on I am going to talk about a few hair masks and hair conditioners that I did use until September sometime. So basically, I started having a lot of hair fall in the middle of the year and I did change my hair care game quite a lot. What I did was I eliminated conditioner completely. But I am not really sure if that is the only factor that contributed in preventing my hair fall or stopping it. There were several other things that I did change. However, I do feel that conditioners were weighing down my hair but I have four conditioners here.

so, one conditioner and a hair mask that did work really well on my hair till about monsoon season. I am going to talk about all four of these with you.

Earth Rhythm Solid Conditioner Bar

BUY NOW BUY NOW

The first conditioner that I did use, liked and have used a complete bar of it is the solid conditioner bar from the brand Earth Rhythm. This is the argan oil and Jamaican black castor oil. Castor oil is something I generally like using in my hair care products and I use this with the shampoo bar from Earth Rhythm. Both in combination worked excellent for me I would recommend this for anyone having dry hair, frizzy hair. This is really something that you can really massage into your hair follicles.

It's very easy to use just dampen your hands a little bit massages the bar in between your palms and then just run it through the length of your hair let it sit for about five minutes and just simply wash off. A great product in my opinion, don’t hesitate guys just give it a go.

Schwarzkopf Professional SPA Essence Hydrating Cream

BUY NOW BUY NOW

The second one that I want to talk about something that I have spoken about in the past as well. I am already using third tub. This is the Schwarzkopf Professional SPA Essence Hydrating Cream mask. Now this is to be used after you've shampooed your hair; you leave it on your hair for about 15 to 20 minutes and then wash off. I personally love this product, guys it really makes my hair super-duper soft. Before when I have to style my hair, I use this product, now I don't use this very often as I mostly stay indoors. But I do use it at least about once in 15 to 20 days. So, this is more like a hair spa for your hair.

Overall, I feel a great product if you're looking for a good fairly affordable hair mask for your hair, a spa sort of a thing then this is the one that you can definitely go for.

L’Oréal Paris Extraordinary Oil Serum

BUY NOW BUY NOW

Then moving on I want to talk about a hair serum that I have been using for the past couple of months and I just cannot get enough of this product. What I am referring to is the L’Oréal Paris Extraordinary Oil Serum. This is such an amazing hair serum. I have used a few hair serums in the past but this really works for my hair guys.

The amazing thing about this is that it's so lightweight on the hair even if I go in with a little bit extra, I mean it just does not weigh down my hair. It really makes my frizz settle down and even when my hair is dry, I just wash my hair and applied a little bit of this when I feel my hair was a little frizzy and it just settles the frizz makes your hair a lot softer. Even before styling my hair, I can go in with this.

A product that I personally really like and definitely something I highly recommend and will be repurchasing.

Before diving into the hair oils, I want to talk about a hair tool. What I am referring to is the Ohria Ayurveda Natural Neem Wooden Comb

BUY NOW BUY NOW

This is a neem cone carved out of a neem tree which means that this has the properties of neem. So, if you have hair fall if you have dandruff or if you have if you just generally feel that there could be some sort of a scalp infection or bacteria on your scalp this is a product which can be really helpful. It's a very good natural remedy you can use and it's a white tooth comb so if you have long hair, you can start combing your hair from the bottom it'll detangle your hair and then move upwards. That's how I use it and something that I feel is very affordable and a good solution if you're having any hair problem or hair concern in particular.

Now, talking about my favorite hair oils I am the kind of person who loves to oil my hair, I always have and it really works for me. So, a couple of products some of the brands that really stood out for me in this year and the oils that I purchased and also repurchased:

Juicy Chemistry Marula Argan and Lavender hair oil

BUY NOW BUY NOW

The first one that I want to talk about is the Juicy Chemistry Marula Argan and Lavender hair oil. This really is a beautiful hair oil guys because it really conditions the hair really well and personally worked very well for my hair. I would recommend this for anyone who has frizzy hair dry hair or if you just have brittle hair at the length. My hair in the length used to break and I feel this has really conditioned my hair really well.

Now guys I usually make a hair oil pack and I use four different oils mix them and make a hair pack for myself.

I am going to quickly mention the oils particularly the brands that stood out for me in this year for coconut oil no surprises Max Care Virgin Coconut Oil stood out for me quite a lot. I have already used their 500 ml bottle, and now I am going to be going in with my new bottle. I use this as a body oil, hair oil and the other oil that I put in my hair pack other than coconut oil is castor oil and the brand that stood out for me is Juicy Chemistry Castrol Oil. Beautiful quality guys and I use this on my eyelashes as well if you have scanty brows, you can put this on your brows as well Great quality of product and the best thing that I like about this is I like my oils to be cold pressed specifically the castor oil to be hexane free and this one is. Then moving on two oils from the brand Deve Herbs that stood out for me quite a lot in this year, what I am referring to is the Pure Almond Oil - Deve Herbs and the Pure Vitamin E Oil - Deve Herbs. Both of these oils are great quality and both of these I use both in my skin care and hair care.

So, guys before wrapping up there is one product good haircare product which I wanted to mention for you and it is an organic good quality the Vilvah Aloe Vera Gel that came really handy for me for styling my hair many times. Aloe vera is generally very good for your hair so if you're looking for a good styling product but you don't want to go for a hair gel then the Vilvah Aloe Vera Gel is an excellent option.

With that it's a wrap my beauties I really hope that you enjoyed reading this blog and were able to pick up some products to include in your hair care routine.
